Kongsberg Maritime and Solstad Offshore have joined forces to explore and test decarbonization technologies for Solstad's fleet. In this collaboration, the two companies will identify and leverage Kongsberg Maritime's products and services to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions on Solstad's vessels. Additionally, they will investigate the application of innovative digital technologies to improve operational efficiency.

Solstad's fleet, consisting of approximately 40 modern ships operating globally, is equipped with Kongsberg Maritime's technology. Solstad Offshore is one of the world's largest offshore shipping companies.

James Poulton, SVP Aftermarket Sale at Kongsberg Maritime, expressed excitement about the ongoing partnership, highlighting the importance of close collaborations in developing integrated technologies that support decarbonization in the maritime industry.

Solstad's Sustainability Director, Tor Inge Dale, emphasized the pivotal role of collaboration in the ongoing energy transition.
