URBAN INTERIOR DESIGN

Have you recognized how big is the influence of "urban style" trend in our everyday lives? At commercial places like restaurant, shopping malls, cafes, and others. Not forgetting how it also affects at interior design of a house. Urban interior design can exist anywhere, not just in cities. Weathered brick walls and exposed ceilings scream urban design, but if your place does not come equipped with those, stainless steel is another easy way to get the same sleek, downtown vibe.

URBAN INTERIOR DESIGN

Urban interiors feature non-traditional home materials and design features, often including objects that are more traditionally used in an industrial sense. The Urban style sees the use of galvanised steelconcrete floors, metal siding, exposed beams and unfinished surfaces to create a distinctly modern, bohemian look. Often random, non functional (in household terms) objects are included in Urban interiors to create an outdoor or industrial atmosphere. In more up scale urban interiors, however, the look is far more polished, with bespoke fixtures, sophisticated finishes and clever small space solutions, such as open floor plans that allow for multi-functional rooms.

The lighting and lighting parts of urban style are also very important to create the ambience more relaxing with the touch of natural looks in interior. You can keep the lighting not too bright in some areas where you wanna feel more "homey’" for example at a bedroom, a reading room, a dining room, a family room, and others.

The main objects for decoration are the following:

- Industrial materials;

- Exposed structural materials used as a feature;

- Unique (non functional) objects used as features;

- Open space;

- Creative floor lamps and lights;

- Stone walls and floors.

This amazing urban style home design was possible thanks to the balance of city and nature that Elizabeth Gómez Coello and Jorge Medina were able to develop. This is an amazing style that proves that it is possible to include the nature everywhere aw well as combine incompatible things.
